Friends Group
California State Parks names no single friends group for the state beach. Volunteers join beach cleanups and long-term programs through the park (contact Elizabeth.Bailey@parks.ca.gov). The Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve across PCH is run by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife; its Interpretive Center, run by the Bolsa Chica Conservancy, is at (714) 846-1114.
